Dr Mark Vella ND: Dr Mark Vella ND is an innovator in integrated medicine and the commercialisation of wellness. With 17 years of qualification, skill and experience in practice in consulting, personal training, bodywork, health education and natural medicine, he now consults to organisations & corporate wellness providers. Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa, he also holds qualifications in business, exercise, bodywork and journalism. Achievements include pioneering the 1st wellness/ personal training centres in Cape Town, co-authoring the world’s 1st internet/ call centre protocol database in Natural Medicine, & having 2 books selling over 100 000 copies worldwide, in 7 languages. Mark is the author of several wellness programs and qualifications. He is the Director of the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Hand-up, Hands-on Apprenticeship Program, both of which he developed. Since 1992, he has owned and directed the successful MASSAGE ON THE BEACH in Cape Town, whilst studying further in Western Medicine and an honours in Business at the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town.
